Description: | Transparent brown cubic fluorite crystals to 28 mm across with tan-colored 1 mm siderite crystals coating select faces of the fluorite. The fluorite crystals fluoresce violet under SW UV illumination. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
