Description: | Translucent pale blue-green smithsonite 3 mm thick layer lining front and rear of the specimen with doubly-terminated colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals up to 10 mm long overgrown on the smithsonite on the front of the specimen. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
