Description: | Lustrous red-brown transparent andradite garnet crystals with minor white calcite in areas. The andradite garnet crystals are a combination of dodecahedral and trapezohedral forms and have slightly striated crystal faces. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
