Description: | Large blocky yellow sulfur crystals to 40 mm across with sparkling coating of colorless lustrous celestine (celestite) microcrystals. This cluster must be seen in person to be appreciated. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
