Description: | Lustrous pink-orange gmelinite crystals that formed over rhombic chabazite crystals. The chabazite dissolved away and on one crystal you can see the gmelinite is partially hollow. The surfaces of the gmelinite crystals have triangular growth patterns. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
