Description: | Double-sided specimen of green acicular aurichalcite crystals to 2 mm long overgrown with translucent colorless calcite crystals to 8 mm across. The rear is completely overgrown with calcite and has a catalog number on plaster applied on the calcite. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
