Description: | Chain-like aggregates of interconnected cubic dark-metallic acanthite crystals with remnants of brown matrix in the crevices between the acanthite crystals. Formed as argentite (stable only above 173° C) and alters to acanthite below 173° C. Ex. Wards ca. 1900 |
