Description: | Dark-metallic octahedral franklinite crystal 15 mm across in translucent white calcite that fluoresces orange under UV illumination. The franklinite crystal has smooth surfaces and rounded edges. One lower corner is chipped. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection #44 |
