Description:Di-pyramidal dark-metallic rutile paramorph after brookite with no matrix attached. The brookite crystallized first, then altered to rutile, but maintaining the original shape of the brookite crystal. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection #763
