Locality: | Darwin District, Inyo County, California |
Description: | Several greenish-gray stolzite pseudomorphs after octahedral scheelite crystals on brown gossan. The scheelite formed first, altered to stolzite, maintaining the shape of the scheelite. A few areas have remaining scheelite that fluoresce white under UV. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) |
