Description:Superb specimen of pink-gray diaspore in heavy magnetite matrix. The diaspore is glassy and translucent with excellent color. A classic New England specimen, see: The Chester Emery Mines in Mineralogical Record v.9 #4. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School
