Mineral:Fluorapatite with Quartz on Hematite
Locality:Cerro de Mercado, Durango, Mexico
Description:Many transparent greenish-yellow apatite crystals up to 16 mm long with colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm in brown metallic hematite. The apatite formed first, then was conglomerated with the hematite and quartz which is why some crystals are incomplete.
