Description: | Crystallized native copper crystals in feather-like crystals of smaller, branching copper crystals growing off central crystals up to 7 mm long. The matrix is coated with transparent calcite crystals to 0.5 mm, many with inclusions of copper and cuprite. Ex. W. Frech (1913-1998) collection #460, originally acquired in 1980 |
