Mineral:Beryl var. Aquamarine with Hyalite Opal
Locality:Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Namibia
Description:Doubly-terminated transparent-to-translucent aquamarine crystals, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with colorless hyalite opal crust on one end that fluoresces bright green under UV illumination. Minor schorl and albite on sides.
Overall Size:4x2x1.8 cm
