Description: | Transparent colorless alum-(K) in crusts to 4 mm thick on pale-yellow sulfur matrix with translucent yellow sulfur crystals to 2 mm on the bottom. The surfaces of the alum-(K) are glassy on smooth - looks beautiful under magnification. Water soluble. Ex. Upsala College; ex. Eastburn collection ca. 1875 |
