Locality:Ballard Mine, Baxter Springs, Cherokee County, Kansas
Description:Parallel brown sphalerite crystals to 50 mm with epitaxial (oriented to underlying mineral structure) overgrowth of brassy chalcopyrite crystals to 3.5 mm resulting in reflections off the chalcopyrite simultaneously when illuminated from certain angles. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970); ex. Hugh Ford (1885-1966).
