Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Superb miniature specimen of lustrous emerald-green dioptase crystals to 4 mm long on colorless calcite with overgrowth of 0.5 mm fibrous green malachite crystals on the rear. The specimen is fully crystallized on all surfaces with no attachment point. Ex. William Bill Severance (1931-2023) 2001.24; ex. Marshall Sussman; ex. Gunther Pietsch collection
