Locality: | Jbel Irhoud (Irhoud Mine), north of Commune Ighoud, 85 km northwest of Marrakesh, Youssoufia Province, Morocco |
Description: | elongated know of lustrous gray quartz crystal to 9 mm covering all sides and top. A later overgrowth of white calcite partially coats the top and rear. The quartz has microscopic orange hematite inclusions in the terminations. |
