Description: | Translucent dark yellow sulfur crystal 34 mm across on brownish bitumen-coated double-sided plate of aragonite crystals to 3 mm. The sulfur crystal is complete on all surfaces with complex crystalline form. Solvents can remove the bitumen. Ex. Russ Buckingham (1914-2003) collection; acquired ca. 1945 |
