Locality:(Sparta), Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Crudely crystallized purplish-gray octahedral spinel crystals to 8 mm across in white marble with blebs of translucent orange-brown chondrodite with old pen-and-ink label. One 8 mm spinel is well exposed and noticeably better than the other spinels. Ex. J. Cilen (1916-1997) #17353; ex. Nerée Boubée (1806-1862) Comptoir Central d'Histoire Naturelle
