Locality:Sayreville Clay Pits, northwest of Kennedy Park, Sayreville, Middlesex County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent nodule of amber with the internal color and clarity visible on one side where a fresh surface is exposed. This amber is fossilized tree resin or tree sap and is approximately 92 million years old dating to the Upper Cretaceous period. Collected ca. 1993
