Description: | Translucent tapered amethyst quartz crystal with color varying from nearly colorless outer layers to bright-purple center zone to smoky-purple in the bottom. The amethyst crystal has waxy surface luster and the termination is incomplete on one side. Ex. J. Cilen (1916-1997) #6088 |
