Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite pseudomorphs (epimorphs) after scepter-shaped anhydrite crystals to 35 mm high. The anhydrite was overgrown with prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved away. Scepter-shaped pseudomorphs are locally called snakehead pseudomorphs Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection; ex. Rutgers University Geology Museum
