Locality: | Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, near Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri |
Description: | Large translucent red-brown sphalerite crystals to 30 mm with blue iridescent surface luster on several crystals plus bladed metallic marcasite to 4 mm and tetrahedral yellow-metallic chalcopyrite to 3 mm on the sphalerite in epitactic orientation. |
