Description: | Quartz epimorph after prismatic anhydrite crystal 50 mm long. It appears the anhydrite crystal formed first, then a thin layer of quartz, the anhydrite dissolved, then a second growth of quartz grew on all surfaces of the thin quartz first generation. Ex.
