Mineral:Brucite and Hydromagnesite, var. Lancasterite
Locality:Wood's Chrome Mine, State Line District, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
Description:Hemispherical formation of translucent Lancasterite, a variety consisting of brucite crystals mixed with white hydromagnesite. The specimen fluoresces greenish-white under UV illumination. Ex. Jay Lininger (1939-2004), ex. Doris Biggs, Scalisi, George English (1864-1944)
