Description: | Large twinned crystals of gray-metallic rutile with striated prism faces that highlight the complex twinning. The rutile crystals from this area are from decomposed pegmatites that weathered away and the crystals were plowed up in farmers fields. Ex. Jay Lininger (1939-2004), collected ca. 1900 |
