Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Large partially-translucent brown garnet crystal with crystallized contacts on base from other crystals. The outer layers of the garnet are translucent. Both andradite and grossular garnets occur at this locality, often within zones in a single crystal.
