Locality:Erving, Franklin County, Massachusetts
Description:Large plate of wavy silver-colored schist studded with many transparent-to-translucent wine-red trapezohedral almandine garnet crystals. This is the largest specimen I obtained from this find. See: What's New in Minerals in Min. Record, v.34 #4.
