Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Vivid-green translucent prehnite crystals up to 5 mm in a broad crust that grew over scalenohedral calcite crystals. The calcite dissolved away, leaving triangular open casts penetrating the prehnite plate. This specimen resembles a Chinese jade carving.
