Locality:Garnet Hill, 7.5 km WNW of Ely, White Pine County, Nevada
Description:Two dark-red almandine garnet crystals on the edge of quartz crystal-lined cavity in pinkish rhyolite. The almandine garnets have trapezohedral form, lustrous crystal faces and shows translucency with strong illumination. One corner is chipped.

Crystals:4-9 mm
