Description: | New find of translucent green cuprian austinite on brown goethite-coated gossan. This is the largest specimen I obtained from the find, with hemispherical austinite groups to 35 mm diameter. The surfaces are composed of distinct lustrous crystal faces. Collected January 22, 2010 |
