Locality:Pyi-Gyi-Taung Mountain, near Let-Pan-Hla, Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma)
Description:Lustrous translucent pink rubellite tourmaline crystals, the pink variety of the mineral species elbaite, to 12 mm on a 30 mm white microcline crystal. The rubellite crystals have deep pink color at the terminations and fluoresce under UV illumination.
