Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Bladed white barite crystals to 30 mm in translucent purple fluorite with brown sphalerite crystal to 1 mm from the famous Mississippi Valley-Type mineralization encountered in 1992-3. For more info see FOMS Picking Table Spring/Summer 1993.
