Locality: | Alakamisy Itenina, south of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa, Haute Matsiatra, Madagascar (Type Locality for Liddicoatite = near Antsirabé) |
Description: | Liddicoatite tourmaline crystal recovered from deep sediments that was sawn into 3 thin slices that were polished to highlight the triangular pink to green to black internal color zonation. Sequential slices with bright colors are sought by collectors. |
