Mineral:Fluorite with Chalcopyrite on Sphalerite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Transparent cubic fluorite crystals to 48 mm with scattered metallic chalcopyrite crystals to 2 mm on brown crystallized sphalerite matrix. The fluorite crystals are gray with thin purple outer zones that are deepest color at the corners.
