Description: | Internally flawless green elbaite tourmaline crystal 30 mm long with the termination capped with an overgrowth of tan-colored cookeite crystals to 0.5 mm. The color of the elbaite crystals is mostly deep-green with a yellow tint near the termination. Found in 1931; ex. Stan Perham in 1957; ex. T.M. Phetteplace (?-1996) |
