Description: | Transparent deep-purple amethyst quartz crystals with glassy crystal faces and internal color zones of deeper color. The amethyst was recovered from a collapsed, corroded pegmatite resulting in edge damage and has remnants of iron-rich soul in crevices. Ex. Joe Cilen(1916-1997) #2442 |
