Locality:Capurru Quarry, Osilo, Sassari Province, Sardinia, Italy
Description:Transparent purple-pink lustrous amethyst quartz crystals up to 16 mm long on transparent colorless calcite crystals to 3 mm with 40 mm hexagonal aragonite crystal. The amethyst is difficult to photograph — must see in person to appreciate.
