Locality:Mogok District, 115 km NNE of Mandalay, Mandalay Division, Myanmar (Burma)
Description:Lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystal 20 mm long with partial overgrowth of translucent gray-colorless quartz. The termination of the schorl, though partially obscured, is actually translucent red rubellite variety of elbaite tourmaline.
