Locality:Max Tessmer Farm, Chub Lake, near Hailesboro, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, New York
Description:Cluster of large di-pyramidal quartz crystals (a.k.a. Cumberland-habit) to 18 mm with inclusions and partial coating of specular hematite crystals to 1 mm. This locality is now closed to collecting. Hard to photograph - must be seen to be appreciated.
