Description: | Large cluster of subparallel transparent elbaite tourmaline crystals with color from pink in the lower portions to deep green in the upper zones. The tourmaline crystals have lustrous prism faces with etched pyramidal terminations. Bottom is sawn flat. Ex. Gerald Clark collection, Ex. John Durkos who acquired the specimen in Brazil ca. 1970 while on a buying trip with Dick Hauck |
