Description: | Glassy Herkimer Diamond, the doubly-terminated variety of quartz from the region around Herkimer, New York, with smoky color due to microscopic anthraxolite (hydrocarbon) inclusions. The quartz exhibits skeletal growth of layered successive growths. Collected by Art Wright in 1994 |
