Description: | Lustrous wine-red trapezohedral spessartine garnet crystals to 15 mm with blocky white microcline feldspar crystals to 22 mm on translucent gray quartz. The small spessartine crystals are transparent. Two spessartine crystals are incomplete. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #M1165; acquired in 1998 from D. Blauwet |
