Description: | Showy cluster of lustrous metallic-looking pyrargyrite crystals to 15 mm long with partial overgrowth on the rear of flattened colorless translucent calcite crystals to 5 mm. The pyrargyrite crystals are translucent red color when rear-illuminated. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #772; originally acquired in 1999 |
