Locality:Braen's Quarry, Haledon, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Large translucent colorless scalenohedral calcite crystal 50 mm tall on translucent gray quartz crystals to 5 mm with dull, etched surface luster. Platy black-metallic hematite crystals to 0.5 mm are included in the large calcite crystal.
