Description: | Parallel twinned crystals of lustrous red-black rutile with remnants of pyrophyllite matrix on the bottom. The crystals have smooth, lustrous surfaces and are twinned through the middle. A good specimen with no surface imperfections. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #782; originally acquired in 1999 from L. Himes |
