Description: | Three large translucent red-brown grossular garnet crystals that alter into massive grossular matrix on the rear. The grossular crystals are dodecahedral form with thin trapezohedral edge faces. The crystals are large for the locality. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #194; originally acquired ca. 1940 |
