Description: | Elongated transparent colorless calcite crystals exhibiting prismatic hexagonal form dominated by alternating faces resulting in triangular prisms. The calcite crystals are terminated with flat basal pinacoid faces. This mine closed in 1866. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #173 |
