Description: | Translucent green sanidine feldspar (per Jesse Fisher) crystals to 13 mm with black aegirine crystals to 4 mm. A few sanidine crystals show pronounced blue Schiller Effect on select faces and are known as peristerite or moonstone. Ex. John Geiges collection #759; ex. David London, collected December 1995 |
